Adsimbu Sky or our Ellie was born on the 21st March 2005. She is a Blue Burmese (see Pedigree Spotlight) and was born in Bishops Stortford. One of nine brothers and sisters, when we first saw her at one month old, they were all sitting on top of each other on the settee. A true Burmese Ellie (short for Electra) is full of life and a cat who loves to be with other human beings. For instance she will follow you from room to room just so she can be with you. Don't let this picture fool you however, inside lies a bundle of mischief. Not for the faint-hearted.

2nd: Louie is seen for the first time on the Internet Web site "Stacym"

10th: Bren makes contact with Ellies Breeders and organises when she can see her.(see Buying a Cat)

12th: We visit Kathy Hines for the first time and meet Kooky, Nestles and Louie.

14th : Meet Ellie for the first time (though she sleeps right through it!).

24th: Take Louie to his new home in Kent.

21st: Ellie is brought to her new home in Kent

Open combat ensues as the two cats tussle for domination of the territory(see Territories)

Early July Ellie is treated for Bronchial pneumonia successfully over a period of a fortnight

Nick finishes securing the back garden with chicken mesh

After fighting, (see Fighting!)the two tolerated each other and then there appeared to be even friendship and acceptance

Ellie grooming Louie by licking the top of his head. Louie doesn't like it. Fights ensue

28th: Louie is one year old

14th: Ellie is neutered. She does(as is expected)pull out her stitches.

19th:Ellie manages to get on top of the shed and almost gets out of the garden.

20th: Nick fixes hole in chicken mesh where Ellie got out.

21st: Serious preparations are begun to get Louie ready for Medway Cat show on December 17th

Ellie finds the idea of taking all the earth out of the cheese plant pot acceptable

Cheese plant is moved into the porch away from prying paws

It is now quite clear that Lou is the dominant cat in the household

Louie grooms Ellie by licking the top of her head. They sleep together on the chair for the first time.

10th: Visit National Cat Show and buy white materials for show next week. (see Preparing for a Show)

17th: We show Louie at the Maidstone and Medway Cat Show. He wins first in the Open and First in the Novice. He wins Best Of Breed. He wins a Premium Certificate. We are chuffed to bits.

They stay at the cattery for the first time. Ellie starts spitting at cattery owner.
