The most striking difference between Ellie and Louie is their coats. Ellies' has been described as "silky smooth" or like satin. Very shiny and short it hugs her little body. But she isn't blessed with Louie's copious fur. So we find Ellie (like her predecessors Tu-tu and Norman) is more likely to want to seek out warm spots in the house. i.e. by the warm heating; you'll suddenly feel her slinking into the bed in the middle of the night. It was only when the summer weather arrived that Ellie began to spend more time outside.
